Chris is a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP), Certified Kinesiologist (CK), a Fascial Stretch Therapist (FST), and High Performance Strength & Conditioning Coach, who has been working extensively within these respective fields since 2006. After starting out of small local gyms and from the back of his car, Chris quickly moved his passion into a business by opening Synergy Training Center, which was founded in a 4000 sq ft facility located in Lincoln, NB. The success of the original facility, led to the opening of a new, larger facility in September 2014 in Fredericton, NB.
Following the completion of his Bachelor of Science Kinesiology degree from UNB Fredericton, Chris worked for the Department of National Defence as a Certified Exercise Physiologist, instructor and fitness test administrator.
Chris is the Lead Developer and Programming Director for various health & wellness initiatives within the City of Fredericton, he develops and presents various rehabilitation and sports performance seminars, is a National Weightlifting Club Coach, and has worked as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for several sport team organizations in Fredericton, including the Men’s and Women’s Loyalists Rugby Club, Black Bears High Performance Wrestling team and the U18 REDS Volleyball club, along with dozens of other individual athletes.
He has a special interest in the long-term development of youth athletes, as well as a personal passion for back health education and injury rehabilitation . He works closely with professional athletes, International, National and Provincial athletes from a variety of sports, has coached World Champions, National Champions, National record holders as well as individuals participating as Canadian World Team members. Chris’s continued efforts to always lead from the front within his industry, and constant development of his own knowledge and skill set, has led to Synergy Training Center becoming a “Go To” location for serious competitive athletes, fitness enthusiasts and those suffering from chronic pain.
Chris has a particular interest in chronic back pain management, and approaches rehabilitation with a focus on client education paired with appropriate strategies to eliminate or manage pain.
With a personal athletic background deeply rooted in wrestling, powerlifting and strength sports, Chris has continued his interests to include working with those competing in combative sports, rugby, powerlifting, strongman training, and many other sports and activities!
Trevor Pardy is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Kinesiologist who received his BSc (honours) in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick (UNB). Post grad, he was the strength and conditioning coach for the UNB Men’s basketball team for 5 years, and 2 years as the head strength and conditioning coach for all University teams.
He has been one of the head coaches at Synergy Training Center for over 4 years, working with our valued members.
He is also a highly respected Olympic lifting coach in New Brunswick, and is the acting President for Olympic lifting in the province.
Trevor has a special interest in nutrition and its effect on health and performance, and is Precision Nutrition Level 1 certified.
